Mike Osgood sent us this tidbit about DVDs that he got at the Celebration. This may or may not be true, but perhaps it could mean better viewing in the future...
My name is Mike Osgood and yesterday night,I went to a jazz bar after wards, around 1am or so and saw Rick Mcallum and some other people that looked associated with the Celebration. I Don't know these peoples names but they looked important enough. After having a drink to muster up some courage I went to say "hello". He is a very stout man in person, doesn't really remind me of what a producer should look like. Anyhow, After Introducing myself and telling him how great all this has been for me and my new wife Marry, I asked him about the DVD hold up of Star Wars? He told me , "It wont be out for some time because all of the Trilogy is being remastered into Dolby Digital Surround EX.The technology for in house has not been made avalable to the public consumer yet." I then thanked him and asked him I could get a picture with him and myself. So, whatever Mcallum ment must be the reason no Star Wars DVD. I should have asked him "but what if you don't own any special equipment, cant we just have the regular version?"
