Natalie Portman won the award for 'Actress in Supporting Role' at last night's Golden Globe Awards. Here's an excerpt from The Hollywood Reporter:
Said Portman in her acceptance speech after Tim Robbins read out her name, "Being among all these candidates, I had no expectations of this." She bestowed praise on the film's director, Mike Nichols, saying: "I love you -- you are the nicest, smartest, wisest daddy, friend, rock star, everything. I just -- I love you so much."
British fans can see Natalie on the Golden Globes tonight on Living TV at 9.30pm, and several times on the Living TV network over the next couple of weeks. Her award is at the beginning of the show.

JediMistressDrgn sends in this report about the Golden Globes Arrival Special on NBC last night:
I just saw Ewan McGregor, who was there for presenting Best Foreign Film, and Liam Neeson for his nomination in the Best Actor category for Kinsey.
They asked Ewan about Star Wars and he said it's already done, just taking longer to come to theaters due to the special effects. Then he mentioned a film he has just done (or will be doing).
Liam talked about Kinsey and then about his role in upcoming Batman Begins and another film.
Natalie Portman has also been nominated for a BAFTA in the Supporting Actress category for her role in Closer.
