On Saturday, June 5, at 1:00 p.m. The Belmont Regional Branch Library (located at 610 East 186th Street in the Bronx, NY) will be hosting a program for young adults ages 12-18. The winners of the library's Star Wars-inspired short story & poetry writing contest will be announced, & the event will also feature a special guest speaker, Steve Saffle. Recently returned from the Star Wars Celebration, Mr Saffle is an editor with Del Rey Books and worked on The Star Wars Encyclopedia, as well as two titles for Episode I.

The afternoon will give teens the chance to compete for movie-related prizes in a Trilogy Trivia Contest, as well as a raffle & other games that test their knowledge of the Star Wars Universe.

Refreshments will be served. And there is still time to enter the short story/poetry writing contest, the deadline for all entries is Monday, May 24, 1999.
