Well, maybe Ewan has been misquoted in the past or he was just caught on a really bad day. Click here for a video of an interview Ewan McGregor did in 2007 where he seems perfectly happy with his work on Star Wars. Great! Now that that's settled, all he needs to do is march on in and record his voice for The Clone Wars :)
