Indy LEGO Mini Movie Tonight! (May 10)

Posted By Mike on May 10, 2008

From our friends in the Tenuto family: (The first sentence is from them and the rest seems to be from the press release)

"Its a great start to May when you get a Clone Wars animated premiere and a Lego Indiana Jones Brick adventure the same week!"

LEGOŽ animation lovers, grab your bomber jackets, whips and TV remotes! The newest CGI animation LEGO mini movie, LEGO Indiana Jones(TM) and the Raiders of the Lost Brick, is slated to premiere as a commercial event within the Cartoon Network Toonami(TM) programming block Saturday, May 10 at 9 p.m. The event, running over four minutes in length, will be hosted by Shia LaBeouf, star of the much-anticipated feature film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Leading up to the mini-movie premiere, Cartoon Network will promote the event through custom on-air spots and online elements at CartoonNetwork.com. Visitors to the Website will get a sneak peek of the on-air event by checking out part one of the mini movie, debuting on the site the week of April 28. The following week, part two will be posted to view, with the full-length mini movie available online following the on-air premiere. In addition, Cartoon Network.com will feature a custom gaming opportunity that features three levels of a LEGO Indiana Jones online game building in difficulty, one level per week, starting April 28.

"We look forward to enhancing the viewing and online experience at Cartoon Network with this exclusive, action-packed multi-platform promotion around this much anticipated film," said Beth Goss, executive vice president, Cartoon Network Ad Sales, Marketing and Enterprises.

"We're thrilled to be working together with Cartoon Network on a second LEGO animation exclusive, generating excitement for our mutual fans and audiences," said Michael Pratt, senior brand manager, LEGO Systems, Inc. "Following the success of our Star Wars(TM) Revenge of the Brick event, our new four-act feature movie is designed to combine the construction, fun and humor of LEGO bricks and minifigures with Indiana Jones adventures to celebrate another blockbuster LEGO line of construction sets based on an iconic movie property."

LEGO Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick was produced by M2 Films.

Thanks Tenutos!
