Ian McDiarmid On BBC Radio 4

Friend of TFN, "LAJ_FETT", wrote to let us know that Ian McDiarmid (Senator/Emperor Palpatine) will be starring in a BBC Radio 4 Afternoon Play tomorrow, December 14 at 2:15pm. The play it titled The Tobacco Merchant by Iain Heggie and has the following description on the BBC Radio 4 site:

"Lawyer Enoch Dalmellington (McDiarmid) detests the corruption of Glasgow's merchant princes, but can't resist being bought off by them. That's when he's not busy being distracted by his daughter Euphemia, his sceptical housekeeper Widow McKay and her spiritual advisor, the startlingly prescient soothsayer Madam Zapata."
