Happy 35th birthday to the original Star Wars and happy 29th birthday to Return of the Jedi. From the Rebellion to the Empire, from Jawas to Ewoks, these films ignited a passion of fandom that's burning as bright as ever decades later. The Clone Wars, books, comics, RPGs, video games, fan sites, podcasts, parodies, MMOs, Star Wars Celebrations, LEGO Star Wars specials, the upcoming Star Wars: Detours series, and so much more! Has there ever been a better time to be a fan?
Thanks to The Maker for a saga that's delivered not only decades of fantastic entertainment, but a fandom that has spawned lifelong friends for many of us.
