Chewie's Head & More Sell At Profiles In History Auction

The Hollywood Reporter has an article reporting on last weekend's Profiles in History auction that found an OT Chewbacca head piece selling for a total (including the buyer's premium) of $172,200. The auction winner, who ponied up quite a bit for that piece of movie history, also received autographed photos from Peter Mayhew and Stuart Freeborn. Other Star Wars items such as a blaster used to break Princess Leia out of her Death Star prison cell and an original ANH concept art poster also sold for top dollar.
