A Newfangled Hope was a project by Bob West and some friends which replaced the entire audiotrack of A New Hope and gave the popular film and entire different storyline and cast of characters. Those who have seen it have described it as "genius" and the "greatest Star Wars parody ever".

Bob West wrote us to let us know that "STAR WARS: A NEWFANGLED HOPE will be broadcast in it's uninterupted entirety, this Wednesday May 12 at 7am Eastern / 6am Central / 5am Mountain / 4am Pacific Time? It will be viewable from the CountdownTV website at http://www.countdowntv.com, and requires Microsoft MediaPlayer to watch. Short sections of the film are being broadcast around the clock at odd intervals as well. Future times for uninterupted showings of Newfangled are still being worked-out."
