The RMFF has recently been featured on the pages of the SW Insider, in the Bantha Tracks Section. The RMFF completed work, at breakneck speed, to restore the X-Wing Fighter model on loan to the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in time for its transport and appearance in conjunction with in the Star Wars Pavillion at San Diego ComicCon '04 . Its members banded together to spruce up the bird and send her on its way in fine fashion with a send off party at the museum. In passing the bird on to San Diego, the RMFF also got the San Diego Star Wars Society to help with the set up, making this a complete FanForce event.
