The San Diego Star Wars Society will be holding its monthly meeting this Friday April 23rd at Lewellen & Best in Poway at 7pm. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

- Discuss the big announcements this week regarding Star Wars DVDs and Comic Con
- Finalize plans for trip to Orange County for the barbecue & Softball game on the 24th
- Discussion of 2nd Anniversary Party in May - Tentatively scheduled for 4pm May 15th
- Discussion of a possible children's charity event in the morning of May 15th
- Road trip to New Mexico to visit our sister Fanforce chapter (Memorial Day, and Summer Date TBA)
- Club bus Maiden voyage & christening
- Discussion about Comic Con 2004
- Celebration 3 planning
- Discussion of Episode 3 Plans
- American Cancer Society's Relay for life
- Walk for Autism Research
- Donny's Graduation
- Summer plans

Again, please bring $3-$4 for pizza, and a canned food item or non-perishable food stuff for our charity food drive. Also bring any donations of Star Wars items you may have for our comic con gift baskets.

Unfortunately we have lost our large rear screen that we used to show movies on. However we now have a front projection screen set up. Following the meeting we will be showing the rare behind the scenes ROTJ footage that was shot in April of 1982. We showed the footage only once before on 8mm film, but it has now been put on DVD. Please bring any other DVDs or fanfilms you would like us to show after the meeting. We will also be looking into getting a new rear projection screen.

- Take the Scripps Poway Parkway Exit off of the 15 freeway and head East
- Go East about 4-5 miles until you reach Kirkham (One light past Pomerado Road)
- Turn Left on Kirkham, take the next left on Kerran
- Drive to the end of Kerran Street, we are in the building on the right.
- Go thru the glass doors and head up the blue staircase to your left.

Take the 67 north to Scripps Poway Parkway
Go West to Kirkham turn Right
Make the first left onto Kerran Street
