Now this is one of the coolest stories I have ever posted about here on TFN. It requires no setup intro - simply read it and feel the sheer awesomeness of such an announcement.

"My name is Jason. I'm a member of the Rebel Legion. This past weekend at DragonCon 2009 I was able to combine my two favorite loves. Star Wars and my girlfriend Sheena. I had worked with the Legion CO and other members to help me propose after our Legion group Photo on Sunday.

My girlfriend had thought I was accepting an award on behalf of one of our Australian CO's...who as the Force had it was actually getting married that day. However as I began to talk I changed the focus to that of relationships and support until I reached behind her and grabbed the ring from a friend who was holding it and on bended knee asked her to be my wife. She lovingly accepted. enclosed are a few pics of the event. Thanks go to Derek DeWeese for the pics as well as Matt Hoffman for helping me plan it and Steve Elliot for holding the ring. And a big thank you to Sheena for waiting these 4 years."
