Empire Screening In Modesto, CA

Our friend Patty was nice enough to write in for the benefit of fellow Star Wars fans living in the Modesto, California area. The State Theater will be hosting a screening of The Empire Strikes Back on Saturday, August 28th at 3:00 PM.

From The State Theater website:

"This special, one-time screening of an archival 35mm print is courtesy of Lucas Films. Few theaters get to screen this print so this is a rare privilege for Star Wars fans. The stormtroopers -- the elite shock troopers of the Galactic Empire who served as ever present reminders of the Emperor's power, extensions of his will, and a method of keeping the Empire's thousands of star systems in line through fear -- will be here, along with the imposing Darth Vader.

Admission is $8"
