There's plenty of creativity in Romania

This rapport just came in from the Romanian FanForce chapter. Read and enjoy!

Every year within FanForce Romania we have all sorts of creative contests but this year instead of competing against each other we thought we should collaborate and focus our creative energies into a fan film. Being our first venture into the movie-maker's universe we decided it should be something of a comedy, something that we can have fun with but we can be serious about. As you know, making a comedy is dramatic stuff.

The plot... well, the plot revolves around the basic Jedi vs Sith conflict but with a few humorous twists. A rubber ducky will play a vital role in the story. Yes, a rubber ducky. Makes your mouth water, doesn't it? The characters are divided into Jedi, Sith, a bounty hunter and a smuggler. We also have a princess but... I don't wanna spoil you. Let's just say all is not what it seems.

The filming itself has already started, but the greater part of it will take place between the 15th and 22nd of august in Timisoara and around the city of Timisoara. We already organized an auction earlier this summer to raise money for the movie's budget. After the production is done, we should move into post production which may take a while since our editor is starting school in autumn. Hopefully we will be able to share with you our work by the end of the year.
