Aimed at high-end collector/costumers as well as dueling enthusiasts, Sabershop.com unveils it's first built-to-fight saber model, dubbed the "Novus". Online businesses selling saber props are nothing new, but Wieber is optimistic that he is offering something above and beyond what's already out there. "The Novus is a beautiful original saber and the quality is fantastic. Absolutely on-par with any high-end replica prop out there, but an original design." says Wieber. It's ergonomically designed for action, and it accepts interchangeable carbon fiber stunt blades, which are just the best thing around for fighting. Trust me, I've tried just about everything."

Sporting features like internal rubber shock-absorbing rings, and a new, safer method of securing the stunt blade in the saber, Wieber is looking to make a big splash with fans out there who are as interested in saber dueling as he is. "For years I've been building my own saber props because I never found a place that took the fighting aspect really seriously. Sabershop is the result of my many-year endeavor to bring all of my experience from making saber fight scenes and focus it into the design of a saber product that is ideal for dueling, yet is not a compromise on quality."
