Eric Larson from the Wisconsin Fan Force (The Milwookie Council) writes to let us know that their FILMCON convention is in its third year.

"The main idea behind the convention is to teach people how to make fan films, everything from spfx to budget concerns. This is also the year we celebrate the 25 anniversary of Star Wars. With an entire track of programming dedicated to the series. I am also hoping that many Fan Force members will attend. We have set aside space for a general meeting and gathering so the groups can all meet."

FILMCON 3 runs on November 15, 16, and 17th. 2002. Their guests are:

Dr. David West Reynolds: Author of the Visual dictionaries and other SW books

Paul Topolos: Matte painter, video game designer, and storyboard artist from Episodes 1 and 2. His most current work will be seen in the additional scenes added to the AOTC DVD due out the same week as the convention.
