Disney's Iger: No Confirmation On Big Three For Ep. VII

George Lucas may have spilled the beans on the negotiations with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford, but Disney CEO Bob Iger wants you to know that nothing is official just yet. Speaking to CNBC's Maria Bartiromo, Iger said, "George Lucas was quoted as saying that they would [return], but we haven't made any official announcement yet." Iger also suggested that the script wasn't done yet, adding that Disney would make casting decisions "when the story is 'broken.'"

It's Official: Star Wars Episode VII Rolls Cameras May 2014 Posted By Philip on March 18, 2014: StarWars.com has posted the news that the cameras will roll on Episode VII in May 2014. The release also goes on to say, "It has also been confirmed that Star Wars: Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces.
