Richard attended the Los Angeles charity premiere of Episode III, and has some interesting 'Revenge of the Sith' DVD news to report:

I attended the charity premiere as a chaperone for the children's rehab clinic I work for.

Mark Hamill showed up as did Mr. Billy Dee Williams! Tons of fans dressed in full costume.

Jimmy Smits showed up and gave up some DVD news. He said holiday release for the DVD (I assume he means Thanksgiving since all the SW prequels have been released in November). He also stated some of his cut scenes were completed with the full FX to be included on the DVD. He didn't specify if they would be incorporated back in the film itself or just part of the deleted scenes section on the bonus disc.

Also Bai Ling said her cut scene was finished and was up for the DVD.

It was so much fun.

Before the film started, Mrs Sam Jackson said a few thank you's to everyone who bought a ticket and contributed to the foundation. Mr Jackson attended the NY premiere. Our LA premiere raised into the millions. Not sure of the final number. It was a great night.

The after party was a Star Wars fan's paradise. Star Wars decorations covered the room. We all got goody bags which are black and have white writing that says 'Star Wars: Episode Iii - Revenge of the Sith'. They are like a small duffle bag. I love mine. It was filled with some cool Star Wars related stuff.

To semi-quote Darth Vader: It was a night "long remembered."
