First you'll want to visit TFN's Star Wars Weekend's Section for some great pics and more from the time down at Disney World this weekend, plus read the report below about an interesting name for the man known only as 'Captain' from Pamela:

I was at Disney MGM Studios' Star Wars Weekend 2000 yesterday. I spoke to Hugh Quarshie and asked, "What is Captain Panaka's first name." His reply after a laugh, Gordon. No one else knew, saw I thought I'd go straight to the source. Hugh was very nice and looked much younger than I thought he was.

Disney did a nice job presenting Star Wars. In the "Making of Episode I" presentation, was select clips from Lynn's Diary with a little footage that I'd never seen before. It was awesome seeing it up on a big screen with a great sound system. The teaser trailers, parts of John Williams' video and the Diary were 35 minutes long. Some of the characters that were there: Boba Fett, Chewbacca, a Rodian, Jawa, Ewok, Amidala, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Admiral Ackbar and some Imperial Officers.

I highly recommend getting to Disney's MGM sometime over the weekend during the month of May. We heard Harrison Ford and family visited the park last weekend, but didn't make an announcement.
