IS NINA BROSH MRS. SKYWALKER?

IS THIS MRS. SKYWALKER?!?!?

UPDATE!!!!

Bill Synnamon saw Steven Sansweet at a convention and asked him if the New York Daily Times report was true. Here's what he had to say:

"I asked him if it were true what the newspapers were printing that Nina Brosh and Bijou Phillips had parts in the movie. He rolled his eyes and said "give me a break!" He said there hasn't been any casting as of yet, so all the reports should be considered bulls**t unless it comes from him or Lucasfilm. I didn't bother to ask about Portman because he was so adamant about the first two."

Well, there you have it! Boy, I'm actually a little relieved! Thanks Bill!

On August 13, 1996, the New York Daily News reported in a blurb that "Nina Brosh just nailed a part in George Lucas' 'Star Wars' prequel". Is this true? We have no way to confirm it. So who is Nina Brosh. She is a part-Russian, part-Chinese supermodel who has appeared in Elle, Vogue, and other magazines. Can she act? Who Knows! At least they have a couple of years to teach her! However, she does fit the description from the casting call looking someone to play the part of the beautiful Queen with a Eurasian appearance. The casting call was looking for someone age 16 yrs, however Nina Brosh looks a LOT older. She has also done many nude photos which also makes me wonder if she was really the person that was picked. Is this true or just another rumor to throw us off the track? I, Scott Chitwood, have no idea. Time will tell! Anyway here's the article. Special thanks to Jay Majer (jmajer@ucla.edu) and Mike (mscherin@aol.com) for bringing this to our attention on the newsgroup.

Role Models

For reasons beyond our comprehension, the press chose not to make a big thing out of Elle Macpherson's getting cast opposite George Clooney in the upcoming "Batman and Robin" flick. Well, we're not going to let the same thing happen to another supermodel who's getting ready for her closeup.

Just in is news that Vendela will star in the very same "Batman," film as Mrs. Freeze to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze. (With their accents, this casting might be tough on movie audience's ears, but just think of how wonderful they'll look together.)

"Joel Schumacher [the director] is not stupid," a movie source told us. "You don't need a whole lot of plot here. He's just got to dress it up and make it look cool." Other models are getting in on the action, too. Lauren Hutton just finished "We The Jury," Lara Harris nabbed Showtime's "Circuit Breaker," Nina Brosh just nailed a part in George Lucas' "Star Wars" prequel and Magali -- the IMG stunner who fixates us in the Schick commercials -- plays an Indian princess in "Blood Trail."
