7/23/97 - Well, Harry Knowles had someone send him the Yoda pic from the Star Wars Insider. Note that it is not the computer model, but the clay model they build the CGI one from. I think he looks pretty good, how about you?

7/19/97 - Just for the record....Darin was scanning through our old info and check out what we posted on February 6, 1997. It was an e-mail from Bruce Handy, the guy who did the TIME article with the first prequel picture:

- "Yoda and Obi-Wan will be in prequels. Yoda will still be "acted" as a puppet by Frank Oz." (Quote from Bruce Handy - TIME Magazine)

Hmmm! We should listen to our old info more often! :) If you look on 6/5/97 in the effects section, we also posted a rumor saying Yoda would be ENTIRELY CG! Even though that rumor was untrue, the rest of the info we were given at that time (saying we'd see pics, etc.) was true. See how confusing all this can be?!

7/18/97 - More news from Nooga Ja on Harry's Reader's Forum, turns out Yoda WILL NOT be entirely CG! Yay! A puppet will still be used. And Frank Oz WILL be portraying Yoda! Double yay! Finally, Lucas is not completely done with casting yet, so we should be hearing about more additions in the near future. Stay Tuned as more news comes from San Diego!
