Fan Club Breakfast Ticket Deadline Approaching

Posted By Dustin on July 7, 2009

From Starwars.com:

"The initial deadline to order tickets for the Official Star Wars Fan Club breakfast at San Diego Comic-Con International is fast approaching. The first deadline -- to make sure you get your exact size for the exclusive 2009 breakfast T-shirt -- is the end of the business day on Wednesday, July 8.

The shirt features a cool design of a clone trooper chef flipping flapjacks for his squadron. The back of the shirt carries the motto "To Prepare and Serve." Breakfast attendees will also get a free exclusive Comic-Con action figure, a smiling Luke Skywalker X-wing pilot, courtesy of Hasbro. OfficialPix, which runs the breakfast for the Fan Club, will provide a card that will be signed by James Bradley Taylor, who provides the voice for Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The breakfast takes place Friday, July 24, 2009, from 7 am to 9 am, in the Seaview room of the Marriott Hotel & Marina, directly next to the San Diego Convention Center. The cost is $55 a person, a reduction from last year's price. Tickets are still available at OfficialPix.

Other guests at the breakfast include Dave Filoni, supervising director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Derryl DePriest, who is in charge of Star Wars business at Hasbro; and Steve Sansweet Lucasfilm's head of fan relations. The breakfast will be hosted by Bantha Tracks editor Mary Franklin. Breakfast guests will also have a chance to win some amazing raffle prizes, including one card autographed by George Lucas."
