Today, issue #2 of Darth Maul-Death Sentence ships. Maul and Opress continue thier path of destruction through the galaxy. The only thing that can make Darth Maul angrier than he is about the price on his head is having his brother captured by the man who put it there. If you thought two Sith were dangerous, wait until you see Darth Maul on his own! Tom Taylor (writer) and Bruno Redondo (artist) along with Dave Dorman on cover, provide a fascinating arc to get fans amped up for the premiere of The Clone Wars coming September 29th.
Also last week we erroneously said that the Clone Wars Omnibus was shipping. Our apologies. Celebration VI was heavy on everyone's mind. Darth Vader and the Ghost Prison #4 actually shipped last week. Here's the copy on the Omnibus again for this week.
The first Clone Wars Omnibus, Clone Wars – The Republic Goes to War, ships this week. It features content previously published, but collected together for the first time from Clone Wars Volume 1: Defense of Kamino, Volume 2: Victories and Sacrifices, Volume 4: Light and Dark, and Free Comic Book Day 2006. The Omnibus program reprints various Star Wars stories in chronological order, and if you missed these the first go round, this makes a great collection to catch up with. Each Omnibus is priced at $24.99.
And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 10, & Star Wars: Darth Maul—Death Sentence #2.
