Agent of the Empire – Iron Eclipse 3 Crimson Empire III 4 Knights of the Old Republic – War 2 Star Wars Omnibus: A Long Time Ago... 5

Dark Horse On Sale This Week

Posted By Jay on February 8, 2012

There's a little bit of everything in comics this week: from an Agent to Zayne! Starting out, there's Agent of the Empire: Iron Eclipse #3 which follows Jahan Cross, framed for a murder he didn't commit. Unfortunately it's not a one-armed Rodian that did the killing, but his political rival at Stark Industries Commercial Combine. Look for surprise guest-stars and see how Cross escapes this problem. $3.50.

This is followed by Crimson Empire III: Empire Lost #4, in which Kir Kanos must warn the New Republic of the threat presented by a splinter group from the Empire. Unfortunately, for crimes against the Republic, he's thrown in jail. Who will step up to halt the resurgence of the Empire? And where's Mirith Sinn been? $3.50.

Next Zayne Carrick (as per usual) is stuck in a hard place, between the Republic Navy and the Mandalorians in Knights of the Old Republic – War #2. Will this Jedi ne'er do well, do well enough to get out of this without causing some disastrous rift? Check out the latest issue to find out! $3.50.

Finally, the final A Long Time Ago... Omnibus (#5) hits shelves, reprinting Marvel Star Wars #86-107. These stories encompass the post-ROTJ timeline introducing the Nagai, Plif & the Hoojibs, and Lady Lumiya. With creators such as Mary Jo Duffy, Randy Stradley, Tom Palmer, Jan Duursema and Cynthia Martin, these are some of the most entertaining storylines to come out of Marvel. And since they take place after the films, readers were never sure where they might go. $24.99.

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars: Agent of the Empire #3, Star Wars: Crimson Empire III - Empire Lost #4, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic—War #2, Star Wars: Tag & Bink Are Dead #1-2, &Star Wars: Tales #5.
