For fans of Star Wars and sci-fi/adventure comics in general, there is a series called Runners created by independent writer/artist Sean Wang. The first story arc "Bad Goods" has been available as individual issues for a few years now. A new version of the first issue was offered this year as part of Free Comic Book Day.

The story introduces a group of smugglers aboard their ship trying to complete a dangerous task for a ganglord. It will appeal greatly to fans of TV shows such as "Firefly" and is very inspired by Star Wars.

This week, Diamond Publishing is shipping the TPB of the 5-issue miniseries, which also includes a rare preview story.
