Catching Up With Dark Horse: Tag & Bink

Posted By Dustin on May 1, 2006

Star Wars: The Return of Tag and Bink Special Edition Star Wars: Tag and Bink Episode I - Revenge of the Clone Menace

Here's what's happening in that galaxy far, far away...

Kevin Rubio, Lucas Marangon, and Dan Jackson continues the adventures of a pair of bumbling Rebels Tag Greenly and Bink Otauna (based on Kevin's own brothers) get more than they bargained for as they stumble their way throughout a new sequel and then head back in time for a prequel adventure.

In Star Wars: The Return of Tag and Bink Special Edition (#1), Kevin and company get a second chance at a third adventure set during Return of the Jedi (replacing the story from Star Wars Tales #12). Tag & Bink continue their bad habits of mistaken identities, borrowing different outfits, and showing up at pivotal moments throughout the film. After joining in the search for Han Solo with Boba Fett after their heads and causing the death of Manny Both-Hanz, the two find themselves aboard the Death Star over the moon of Endor. Bad timing.

In Star Wars: Tag and Bink Episode I - Revenge of the Clone Menace (#2), we jump back in time 20 years to the events of Attack of the Clones. Tag & Bink are young padawans at the Jedi Temple, messing up the Jedi Archives, encountering Jango Fett, and they help out Anakin Skywalker during an off-screen dilemma.
