Star Wars Mimobot Series 2

Posted By Mike on March 1, 2008

The second wave of Star Wars mimobots is on its way next year with 4 new additions. Due in late January, this series includes Luke Skywalker (in his snazzy X-Wing pilot gear), Princess Leia, Han Solo and Boba Fett. Both Luke and Fett will have removable helmets. Also take notice that this wave is the first to transition away from the traditional mimoco bear shaped head. The Han Solo is awesome! Click the thumbnail above for a larger view of all four!

UPDATE: According to Gizmodo, series 2 of the Star Wars mimobot flash drives will be shipping tomorrow after a bit of a delay. Hopefully this is good news for those of you who have pre-ordered.

UPDATE / REVIEW : I've (Dustin) aquired the Boba Fett mimoco flash drive courtesy of mimoco and took a few snaps of it to share with you all. I must say I really do dig the new removable helmet / hair feature. Now if they'll just re-do wave 1 so they don't have teddy bear ears that'd be great.

This little bugger comes jam packed with all sorts of Star Wars multimedia goodness such as wallpapers, icons, trailers, sound bytes and so much more. There are four characters available in series two as shown in the thumbnail up top. All versions are available in 1GB, 2GB, & 4GB capacities but are limited to a set number per character. The edition breakdown is as follows:

Princess Leia : 3,500
Boba Fett : 5,000
Han Solo : 2,500
X-Wing Luke : 3,500

Perfect for backing up files or transporting stolen Imperial data if ya know what I mean....
