Gus And Duncan's Guide To Star Wars Prototypes Posted By Dustin on May 27, 2010
Earlier this week TheForce.net posted information about a new Star Wars Prototype book coming soon from Barnes & Noble this August. Thankfully Gus and Duncan have been gracious enough to allow Rebelscum.com readers a first glimpse of their latest book Gus And Duncan's Guide To Star Wars Prototypes. Below are some sample pages from the book itself along with some additional information.
Gus and Duncan’s Guide to Star Wars Prototypes Price: $49.99 Availability: Due out August 12th from Completist Publications. Contrary to what bn.com states, it is *not* yet available for pre-order. In fact, as far as I know, bn.com won't be selling it at all, ever. The B&N pre-order is bogus. It will be available via Paizo.com and Amazon.com.
"Gus and Duncan’s Guide to Star Wars Prototypes is a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the most successful movie toy license of all time: the Kenner Star Wars line. With hundreds of photographs of vintage toy prototypes, this book gives details on many one-of-a-kind items found nowhere else. The familiar toys that were loved by an entire generation are presented here in various stages of pre-production along with many never-released toys that few people even knew existed. Collectors and fans will marvel at the skill and artistry that went into producing their favorite Star Wars toys."
Also, a reminder that there are only 5 days left on the 30% off sale of, "Gus and Duncan's Comprehensive Guide to Star Wars Collectibles". It's very unlikely it will ever go on sale again for such a low price! Grab your's today!
