INFORMATION:
This advance teaser, also called the "Ingot advance", heralded the return of Star Wars to the big screen. One of the more notable things about this poster is that it was released with two different dates for Return of the Jedi. The first had a release date of March 7, 1997 on it (see above). However, plans changed and the release date was shifted to March 14, 1997 (see below). The old posters were promptly yanked and the new ones put up, thus making the first edition more rare and sought after.
