CV: Star Wars Trivia Championship

Celebration V held the first ever Star Wars Trivia Galactic Championship. The tournament, which was hosted by Star Wars artist Kevin Liell, was held over a two day period, and consisted of three rounds, with the winners of each round returning to compete in a final elimination match for the coveted title of Galactic Champion. With over 1,000 people attending from all over the world, the contest brought together some of the most knowledgeable fans of the Star Wars Saga.

Though the attendees were there to win the title, for some the highlight of the Contest was when Star Wars actor Alan Harris, better know to fans as Bossk, took the stage and told a few stories from his time on the set of The Empire Strikes Back. After the most famous Trandoshan ever spoke about the film, Alan then asked the audience a few Bossk trivia questions. For those of you interested: Bossk name means "Devours His Prey" in Dosh; Bossk's ship is the "Hound's Tooth;" and his father's name was "Cradossk."

As participants competed the number of contestants grew smaller and smaller until the Championship was left to the final three: Jeff, Brian and Shay. As these three Star Was enthusiasts competed the crowd watch as Jeffrey Schnitzer was crowned the first ever Galactic Champion of Star Wars Trivia!
