View Poll Archives 4th Annual Unofficial SW Fan Day At Disneyland Posted By Mike on May 3, 2008 Our friend Rachel W., of the Pacific Fan Force, sent over the following: "Saturday June 28th will mark the 4th Annual Unofficial Star Wars Fan Day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. In an on-going efforts to get our own Star Wars Weekends on the West Coast, Star Wars fans from all over are invited to join us for a day of fun in the Magic Kingdom. The traditional Fan Force lunch will be at 12pm at Pizza Port followed immediately by the large group photo in front of the castle at 2pm. All Star Wars fans and their families are invited. Last year was such a success with over 200 Star Wars fans in attendance and over $200.00 was earned from T-shirt sales for the American Cancer Society. We will be having a group photo taken at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at 2:00 p.m. Commemorative T-shirts with a brand new logo are available. From what I'm told, this was quite a crowd-pleaser, with appearances by Steve Sansweet, Dave Filoni, Lorne Peterson, John Knoll, and a model made up to look like Ahsoka Tano. Lightsabers were given out and used cut the ribbon, officially opening the event.
