Next month will see the release of a one-shot publication entitled Vader: The Definitive Guide from IDG Entertainment. At first glance, it looked (at least to me) like it might just be a frivolous promotional piece with no new material worth shelling out ten bucks for, but look carefully around the blogs and message boards and you find out there might actually be something to this: new art by Joe Corroney, articles by fan favorites Daniel Wallace and Abel Pe?a, and even a Vader short story by the queen of fan favorites, Karen Traviss, taking place shortly after RotS. If this tickles your fancy, the only place to get it seems to be IDG's thoroughly underwhelming order page.

Update! Stephanie from IDG sent me a little more info on the guide to share with you; here's the total list of contributing artists: Jan Duursema, Joe Corroney, Chris Trevas, Tommy Lee Edwards, and Matt Busch. This thing keeps looking better and better.

Update #2 Looks like there was a last-minute addition to the artist list. Chris Trevas dropped me a line to say that John Dunivant is also slated to contribute. Who's John Dunivant, you ask? If you're at all a regular visitor to TFN, chances are this image rings some bells...
