In case you are new to this series of posts following the blog entries of Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff, then now might be a decent time to bring you up to speed. Bohnhoff is the co-writer of the upcoming, and tentatively titled, novel Holostar with Michael Reaves. Leading up to the release, Maya has created a series of blog entries called A Padawan's Journal which touch on her upcoming novel, Star Wars in general, the writing process and much more. The entries are typically short, sweet and always entertaining. This week's entry, #34, find's Maya discussing her enjoyment of parody "filk" music while sharing a new diddy she wrote with her husband. Next time, the author will dive back into character examination with a focus on Star Wars heroines.
